Return Information:
I. Perfect
Condition Merchandise
1. Please
email customer service at customerservice@surfcityinstruments.com within 10 days
of delivery to notify us of the return. Within 48 hours you will be issued a RMA,
return merchandise authorization number by telephone or email.
2. Write the return authorization number on the outside of the shipping box, not
the manufacturers box.
3. Repack all items into the original shipping container with all paperwork,
warranty cards, etc. You must also include a printed copy of your sales receipt.
All merchandise must be in its original packaging with no signs of wear or
abuse. Any deviations from this may result in a restocking fee up to 20%. Please
note: Returned merchandise must be in perfect unused condition with all original
packaging unopened.
4. Resend the package using the carrier of your choice. Note: the package must
be insured to the value stated on your sales receipt, and must be received
within 30 days of the original delivery.
5. Upon receipt of an item it will be inspected and cleaned. Please allow
10 - 14 days for return processing and a credit for the merchandise to be
issued.
II. Damaged Merchandise
1. If an item
has been damaged during shipment please CLICK HERE to submit the UPS "Form
to Report Damage" .
2. You will find all necessary information to complete the form on your sales
receipt and this information page. It may be necessary for a UPS representative
to inspect the items to determine fault for damage.
3. It may take approximately 1 week for UPS to determine liability. In the mean
time, you will be shipped a replacement item.
Exchange
Information:
I. Defective
or Incorrect Merchandise
If you should
receive defective or incorrect merchandise, please contact SurfCityMusic within
10 days of receipt to obtain an RMA and instructions on how to return the
damaged / incorrect item. Once the defective or incorrect merchandise is
received at our warehouse, the correct replacement items will be shipped to you
free of any additional shipping charge.
Please Note:
For defective or incorrect merchandise, the customer will be provided a return
shipping label free of charge. If the customer decides that they do not want a
replacement, the return will be treated as outlined in the "For Unwanted
Items" section below.
II. For
Unwanted Items
If you should
decide that you are unhappy with the item you have purchased, please contact
SurfCityMusic within 10 days of receipt by email to obtain an RMA and
instructions on how to return the unwanted item. You must then ship the item (in
new condition, in its original unopened packaging) back to our warehouse at your
expense. Once the merchandise is received at our warehouse, we will issue a
credit to your credit card for the original purchase price of the item (less
original shipping charges).
Non-Returnable Items:
Please be
aware that some items are non-returnable. Opened or used sets of strings,
computer software, internal earphones, earplugs, traditional and ethnic wind
instruments, raw-frame speakers, pickups that have been installed, drum heads
and sticks, clothing, books and sheet music, cassettes, CDs, and videos are non-returnable
except for defective items. Guitars which have been modified or played and
possess pick scratch marks and any other markings of personal use cannot be
accepted as a return. We ask that you view your instrument with extreme care
until the decision is made to keep it.
Return items must be received within 30 days of
receipt or they will not be accepted. If a return is received after the 30 day
limit, it will be returned at the customer's expense. We ask that customers
respect this return policy as most local music stores will not allow a cash
refund, only in-store credit.
